So I find myself at home again on a weekday, looking for work. I'd love something steady, but even a part-time contract right now would rule. The problem with being in web design in the area i live in is there is next to no jobs unless you drive an hour and a half or so away + traffic or work from home doing freelance work.

However the upside is my laundry is getting done regularly and I have time to work on projects i enjoy and develop skills i want to learn or learn more about.

and I actually have some time to play my Wii. and dick with my tablet.

So remember lambs, a degree does not always mean a job right away, and soy is overprocessed stomach cancer waiting to happen.

Now go play your pokeymans.

Today I am another year older and absolutely no wiser. This evening i shall be partaking of wings at hooters in niagara falls, since a friend of ours won a contest at the local rock radio station. Seems like a great way to celebrate.

So there it is. Next year I turn 30. I have a year to plan something even better than tits and wings. I welcome any and all suggestions.

So I just get off of reading week (Spring break, whatever), and smack into midterms full-force. My classes end in April and if all goes well I finally graduate from college. Thank god. Much as I enjoy myself I could use a bit less stress.

I have recently started a side project with a couple of friends. Very early stages atm, and i'll be lurking around the flash forum more often. I hope to have a thing or two submitted this summer. With the pace we're going at, it looks promising.

My fantastic and chatty mood I credit to the sudden wonderful change in weather the last two days. I really love the first breaks of spring, even if it does mean my birthday is coming up.

In closing, I would like to see a guy enjoy this book.

I'm munching Doritos and drinking hot water. I lost my tastebuds in 'nam so it might as well be sharksteaks and milkshakes.

It's true, the Christmas season runs from the 25th til the feast of the Epiphany on the 6th of january, which is the 12th day of Christmas. (the day the wise men supposedly reached Bethlehem and presented their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to baby Jesus). So this still technically counts as a Christmas post.

SO. How do I know this? TORTUROUS CATHOLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION. uniforms and chapels, the whole nine yards. Ask me what an advent wreath is or to recite the Apostle's Creed, I can do it. I won't, but I can.

I'm gonna have a few more beers and play Wii with my ball 'n' chain.

i wish i could celebrate both american and canadian Thanksgivings, then i'd get two turkey dinners. I figure after the meal i had tonight i won't need to eat again 'til November anyway.

Also the t-shirt design art contest seems to have blown up huge. I'm eager to see what the winning design will be, I'm already a fan of a few of the ones already submitted. I entered one myself and since there's still a couple weeks to go i might do another. I used to paint and draw all the time and It's been awhile since I got to sit and just do something for fun, I forgot how much I enjoy it.

I need to go and finish digesting.

My summary for this weekend:

Chiefs lost, Bills lost, one possibly paralyzing injury, one fired kicker, T.O is still a fucking moron and I don't care that he got two touchdowns.

I'm thinking of hitting the Bills vs Baltimore game if finances permit.

I hate when I get a craving for a food but I don't know which one.

So poxpower has outdone himself this year putting together this year's diary of mod meat '07. In addition to his usual stuff he threw together and submitted a fun intro which you can watch yonder.

Now it's back to non-work, been messing with 3ds max and flash again, I have to refresh my memory before classes start again in september. Who knows, I may actually submit something one day.
